Why Onnos?
Before roads carved through volcanic rock, before cars climbed Santorini's impossible cliffs, there was the donkey.
For centuries, these steadfast animals carried building stones up paths too narrow for wheels. They built the whitewashed villages that postcards now celebrate — one patient step at a time.
We named our villa Onnos — Greek for donkey — because it embodies that same spirit: substance over spectacle, quiet strength, and the authentic character of island life.
